About the Harding Sisters
We’re three sisters who grew up chasing cattle, dreams, and each other across the plains of western Kansas. From cattle pens to graduation stages, we’ve always had each other’s backs — even if we don’t always agree on where to get dinner after a long day of pounding fence posts.

These days, we’re spread across the state doing big things in law, journalism, and agriculture — but our roots still run deep in dryland dirt and small-town values. Whether we’re navigating courtrooms, newsrooms, or the next calving season, one thing’s for sure: we’re in it together, and we’re never boring.

I'm Paige!
I’m a small-town Kansas girl turned attorney, back home and figuring it out one case (and coffee) at a time. After years of school, internships, and wondering what law practice really looks like… turns out, sometimes it is just like TV and other times, it’s wrangling real estate deals between working calves and client calls.

I started this blog to share what it’s like to be a first-year associate, a young professional in a rural community, and someone who cares deeply about agriculture, family, and the future of small towns. It’s equal parts legal insight, life updates, and behind-the-scenes looks at everything from courtroom wins to community potlucks.

I believe there’s a lot of power in showing up — in your hometown, in your profession, and in the little in-between moments that shape who we are. Whether I’m helping a ranching family plan for the next generation, navigating courthouse quirks, or finding time to check cattle before sunset, I’m rediscovering that small town life doesn’t have to mean small dreams. This blog is a front-row seat to the lessons, laughs, and leaps of faith it takes to build a life (and a law practice) rooted in purpose.

If you’re curious about rural life, building a meaningful career close to home, or just want to follow along as I learn (sometimes the hard way), you’re in the right place.

Meet Abigail
Meet the middle one, Abby! About to enter her second year of law school, she is full of all the good advice and necessary pep talks! After a last minute (literally) decision to go to law school instead of dental school, Abby has been exploring different legal paths she can take with a STEM degree. Graduating with a degree in human biology, she is discovering different ways she can use her unique skill set.

Abby is absolutely rocking law school. A peer mentor, ambassador, Lexis database rep, moot court member, involved in various clubs, and most impressive, the Vice President of the Washburn Student Bar Association, she is quite literally running the law school!

Keep a lookout for Blazers & Briefs, the blog where Abby highlights all things law school.

Meet Lauren
My youngest sister Lauren is the life of the party and the most booked-and-busy college student I know. She’s a junior at KU majoring in multimedia and broadcast journalism (so basically, she’s destined to be the next big thing on your screen). This summer, she’s interning at KSNT 27 — chasing down stories, learning the ropes of real reporting, and somehow still managing to make time for working cattle on the weekends.

When she’s not at the news station or in class, she’s probably directing Rock Chalk Revue, the largest student-run philanthropy in the nation — which means late nights, big ideas, and rallying a full cast of college kids like a pro.
Lauren keeps us all laughing and brings the energy wherever she goes — and honestly, we’re all just trying to keep up. She brings advice on stepping out of your comfort zone and tackling college far from home.
